Citroen C3 Picasso - One Accident ....No claims Bonus - Zongalero

Hi would a single accident knock your No Claims Bonus once or twice please.

There is the claim on my vehicle and the Third Party Claim...is it double bubble.I am at fault.

Can't see how or why a single accident would affect your NCB twice?. You build up a discount based on your insurance not having a claim against it. So (unless NCB is protected) if a claim is made, surely you lose all of that discount?

Also not sure what you mean by double bubble?

Thanks for your reply.

Going into the mishap I had 7 years no claims.My insurance company are quite good ....if you have an accident thery reduce your NCB ....by only 2 years...I wasnt sure whether it was per accident or claim tho

Double Bubble is just a phrase I use as a throwaway comment.....maybe I should do that with it com0pletely

I'd expect them to treat it as one claim but an at fault accident may increase the underlying premium before NCD is applied.
